The designers at Never Compromise accomplished this by removing unnecessary mass from the putter's aircraft grade aluminum body and adding precision formed tungsten weights to its heel and toe.
In order to give the golfer added control over his putts, Gray Matter 2 putters also feature an aluminum infused composite weave insert. With only half the density of standard aluminum, this high-tech insert gave our designers the freedom to shift even more weight away from the putter's face while providing golfers with the feel they need to be confident over the ball.

Bought a used GM2 MM putter 35" it lines up perfectly for my eye with the gray area matching a ball size right and the alignment line is square to the face unlike the HM which is closed to the alignment line. It has great feel and sound being perfect for distance and rolls true. I was using a futura Phantom mallet II and this beat it out of the bag hands down. The only thing I did not like so far is the magnet in the headcover can come loose.
