Q
hey andy m. when is your new nike crush golfball coming in real you tell me your friend richard
A
Richard, the Crush should be here within 2 weeks.
Q
I like the MOJO ball which ball is similiar to the MOJO
A
The new Nike Crush will be the most comparable of the 2010 Nike ball lineup to the MoJo.
Q
I notice Titelist Pro V-1's spin more than most other balls, especially around the greens. How do the nike PD softs compare?
A
Its tough to compare the two as they are in completely different categories. The Pro V are tour performance golf balls while the PD Soft are more recreational balls. The PD Soft are designed with reduced spin rates to promote greater accuracy from tee to green.

Q
How does the PD soft compare to the wilson staff 50/50.
A
Hi, thanks for the question. These two are quite similar, but the PD Soft has a slightly higher compression. -PArker
Q
I'd like to know the compression rating for the nike power distance soft and super soft golf balls.
A
The Power Dist Soft is a 61 compression golf ball. The Super Soft is a 64 compression.
Q
Can you put a line around the ball. I do this by hand now, but would be interested if you can do it more precisely and more permanently. thanks
A
hi, thanks for your question. We are currently not set up to print a line around the entire ball. We do have the IDALIGN feature that would be printed on the opposite pole of the printing of the ball type. -PArker
Q
i liked the maxfli md 100 a few years back, what ball do you think would be equal or similair in todays choices?
A
I've played Maxfli, Titleist, Srixon, etc. in this price range and nothing is as good, for me, as the PD Soft. Good feel around the green, solid feeloff the tee and irons. Cover holds up better than most other balls I've tried, too.
Q
How long is shipping on personalized balls?
Q
For a super senior with low swing speed, what ball would you recommend?
A
Try the Callaway Big Bertha Diablo or the Nike Karma. These two options offer compressions near 50.
Q
what is the highest compression and highest spinning ball made today.
anything close to the old 100 comp wound balls ?
A
Thanks for your question. The highest compression ball that I carry currently is the Top-Flite XL 3000 Straight which is a 104 compression. The highest compression ball with max spin is going to be the Taylor Made TP Black LDP at 101 compression. The highest spinning golf ball that I have data on is the Nike One Platinum 2008 ball.
Q
i have just started playing golf this summer so would this ball be the one i should us or is there a better one
A
Hi, thanks for your question. This would not be a bad ball at all if you are just starting out. This is a low compression ball. If you can find any other low compression ball, that would suffice as well.
Q
CAN I GET ANY # ON THE BALLS ???
A
Hi, thanks for the question. The only ball that you can get custom numbers on is Taylor Made. -Parker
Q
I really liked the Nike sft2 balls but they have been discontinued. Which of Nike's current balls would closest match the sft 2?
A
Thank you for your question. I would say the Nike Power Distance Soft is the most comparable to the Nike SFT 2. Please let us know if you are interested in these. -Parker
Q
I really liked the super lady power distance golf balls. It seems they are no longer made are the power distance soft the same ball?
A
Thank you for your inquiry. The Lady Nike ball is no longer being produced and the new Power Soft is a lower compression ball that you should have success with if you liked Super Lady.
Q
Dear Sir/Madam
good Morning,i would like to order your personalized golf balls, but can you ship it Saudi Arabia?
hope to see your reply
thank you
Regards,
Doaa Shafie
A
Doaa, yes can do offer customized product to be shipped to you in Saudi.
Q
The talk is about club head speed; high, moderate and low. Just where does one go to determine club head speed and does this only apply to drivers?
A
Thank you for your inquiry. Club head speed is mainly mentioned when speaking of driving the golf ball. High club head speeds are 100 MHP+, moderate 85-99, and low would be considered below 85 MPH. Head speed will always be considered when determining shaft flex and usually ball selection. It is always great to be aware of your club head speed.
A
Don't worry, I'll answer your question for you. Most golf shops have equipment with which they can measure your club head speed, however they may attempt to sell you a shaft you don't need. The vast majority of people do just fine with the shaft that comes with the club.
A
Search for a Golfsmith or PGA Tour Superstore in your area. Golfsmith has hitting areas set up near the rear of their shops and the majority of the time no one bothers you at all. The PGA Tour Superstores usually have at least 8 perforance bays that you can try clubs out.
Q
My company bought several doz. balls, they were kept in the store room. How long will these balls last? are they still good? its been around 8yrs. the company closed and I recieved several doz.
A
Jerry, the shelf life of the golf balls if stored in a climate controlled area is non existent. The balls will perform to the standards they were produced at the time. If you are playing an older golf ball you may notice differences from performance of newer balls but that is due to advances in technology not because the ball is "dead". Only storing balls out doors or in non controllable climates will you notice the balls only last around 2 years in most cases.
Q
Is ID-Align aligned along 1) the center of balance, 2) the seam of two part cover, or 3) just a few dots on either side of initials?
A
Thank you for your question. The IDAlign service is centered in accordance to the logo of the manufacturer, in many cases the balls we print on are seamless. The are 6 different Golfballs.com ID-Align selections to choose from including arrows, lines, dots, or stars. For additional inquiries, please contact us at 1-800-372-2557. Thanks, Andy
A
Golf balls stored in a controlled climate, (not outside in the elements, not stored in a 100 degree temperature,)will lose ONE YARD per year. That means, obviously, if you store your golf balls for ten years they will lose only ten yards of carry. Most of us could never tell the difference until it reaches that ten year mark.
Q
Why don't more ball manuf. indicate if the covering is urathane, I am looking for some by I never know what I'm buying, they don't seem to be bothered listing Surlyn covering? Can you tell me how I ca
A
Excellent question.
Nowadays so many balls aren't classified as having a "urethane" cover but more now classified under their own brand name cover. But please be sure and review ball descriptions as many of them do have the cover named in the description.
Thanks,
Johnny
A
The Bridgestone E6+ has a urethane cover. Check it out.
Q
What does overrun mean? Is the ball still new and true? thank you
A
Thank you for your question.
A Logo Overrun is a New golf ball that has a company logo or personalization on it already. Logo Overruns have some of the best deals that you can find on golf balls period.
Please let me know if I may be of any other assistance.

Johnny
Q
What is the downside of using balls fished out of water? Can an otherwise perfect ball become water-logged?
A
Thank you for your question.
This is a perfect question for a company that started out selling used golf balls! Really there is only one down side; the length of time the ball spent in the water. If it's one that has been in the water for months then it stands a much better chance to become "out of round" so that the performance of the golf ball is compromised. This is rare due to the fact that used golf ball retriever is a big time business and ponds/lakes have balls fished out of them
Q
I'm new to golfing and was recommended to buy Wilson Ultra Ultimate Distance Golf Balls (pack of 15). Great balls but each pack of three balls has a different number on it: 1,2,3,4 and 5. What does th
A
Thank you for your question.
It's nothing more than a simple number system developed in case golfers in the same group are using the same golf ball. This way those golfer could use different numbered golf balls and be able to identify their golf ball easily.
I hope this helps.
Thanks,
Johnny
Q
What is a moderate swingspeed? My driver speed is around 100, 95 to 104 is this moderate, slow or what?
A
Mike, thank you for your inquiry. Moderate club head speeds are closer to the 85-90 MPH speed zone. Anything 100+ would be considered high. Thanks. Andy
Q
In this new age of high-tech golf balls, how long can they be stored in climate controlled environment and still be 100% effective? Thanks Eddy
A
Thank you for your question Eddy.
If you store golf balls in a climate controlled environment there really is an unlimited shelf life. At least this is what I'm told after speaking with a few major brands who make golf balls.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thank you,
Johnny
Q
Can I get 4 intials on the ID align?
Thanks,
Nick
A
Nick,
Thanks for your question. Right now we can not pull that one off. Our machine is specifically set up for 3 or less. Anything more falls outside of our printing parameter and you wouldn't see the whole line.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Johnny
Q
Can I have a personalization done on more than one side?
A
Thank you for your question.
This is not a problem at all. The charge for what's called a "two-pole" print would be an extra $5 on top of the personalized ball price. You would need to call us to place this order as this would be a custom order. You may reach us at 1-800-372-2557.
Play Well,
Johnny
Q
If I buy two Bridgestone Treo Soft and get $6.00 shipping it comes to $44. on logo overruns. I can buy new ones @ $21.95 so how am I saving?
A
Mr. Mazzone,
Thank you for your question.
Where is the value? 1) Not spending the gas to go to the store to purchase golf balls 2) You are not charged sales tax on your order which to purchase locally would push you over the $44 threshold. 3) Convenience - 24 hour shopping
I hope you would view these as a few reasons to consider purchasing online vs. purchasing at a retail store.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or if I may be of any other service.
Sincerely,
Q
Am I able to purchase 4 dozen of balls, each with a differant personalization?
A
Absolutely,
You will need to add the Pro V1 - Personalized four different times on your order to be able to personalize each dozen individually.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Johnny
Q
Can the font size used be larger? I was disappointed it was so small the last time I ordered.
A
Thank you for your question.
You may certainly request this. During checkout there is a space to add "additional comments." Please make your request there. But also please note that the being able to enlarge your personalization is based upon 1) there being a limited amount of text that you want on the ball 2) knowing that we have a limited amount of space to print on.
If you max out all three lines with text then we would have no room to grow, so to speak.
I hope this helps and pleas
Q
1.Why don't ball manufacturer's put the compression of the ball on the box.?
2. How many dimples designs are there on golf balls.?
Thank you.
Jim.
A
Jim,
Thanks for your question. Golf Ball Manufacturer aren't required to put a compression on a golf ball and many of them don't want to be segmented by giving that information. In regards to dimple designs there are multiple dimple designs on golf balls and there is also not set number as to how many dimples a golf ball will have. It varies on every golf ball.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Play Well,
Jjohnny
Q
How would you store golf balls is it ok to store them at room temp in your house. And can beening in the cool hurt them
A
Thank you for your question.
Storing golf balls at room temp in your house is ideal. In regards to storing golf balls in cold temperatures or hot temps for that matter, temperature will eventually have an effect on a golf ball but only after a long period of time. Moral of the story, try not to store golf balls in your trunk! I'm guilty of that one!
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Play Well,
Johnny
Q
It seems every year the ball manufacturers play around with ball specs. During the past year I've had success with the Top Flight Gamer as a ball with playability comparable to the Pro V1 & V1x a
A
Thank you for your comments, and you're right it certainly does feel that way. I can't tell you how many calls or emails we receive stating that just when you get used to playing a certain ball they change it! It's enough to drive your crazy! For a golf ball manufacturer it's about doing their best to keep their product relevant and fresh. That is why their product gets tweaked every 1-2 years.
While I feel your pain I don't think there is anything we can do about it!
Please let me kno
Q
i was woundering if you guys ship to apo's cause we do like to play a little golf over here in iraq but no where sells golfballs or clubs so i was wounderin if you could help us out
A
yes, we do ship to APO addresses.
Q
I want to get some balls personalized for my brother-in-law. He loves golf, but as he ages, his ;75th birthday is soon, he doesn't hit the ball as far. Any bal better for the senior golfer? Jan
A
Jan, this ball would work well for any golfer especially those will lower club head speeds. This ball is contructed with a low compression core which allows maximum performance and soft feel to golfer with average or below swing speeds. He would be quite happy with the results received from playing this golf ball.
