Worth the change 10/15/2008
Handicap 0 - 5
Ok guys, this ball is a must try. You've seen Sergio have one of his best years ever and he contributes a lot of his added confidence to the new TaylorMade TP Red LDP balls. Its longer, softer, and it flies higher than the original. The new 360 dimple design promotes consistent spin rates and decreased spin rates on off center hits. If you're going to try a new ball, now is the time, and this is the ball.

Best ball I have ever played 10/6/2008
Handicap 10 - 15
I used to use any kind of ball that I had laying around, my favorite being the Callawy HX Hot and Hot Bite. But then I tried the TP Red LDP when I played 9 holes at my favorite course. My last round on the front 9 I shot a 52. Then I played it again 1 month later and I shot a 39 by using this ball the whole round. It hits straight, long, and has excellent feel and spin. This is by far the best ball I have ever used and it has allowed me to make my High School golf team, which is in the top 2 best in Utah. T

Good Results, Ball Stays true to line 8/31/2008
Handicap 20-30
I have been going back and forth between this ball and the Callaway Golf HX HOT BITE Golf Balls. I think this ball holds better off the tee with a driver and stays true to its line. Straighter shots. It has less feel around the greens with wedges than the aforementioned Callaway ball but it stays in the fairway longer. Good Luck on your choice I hope this helped. Also, today with this ball I went from hitting 95-100 to a best ever 83 round, because I was able to get off of the tee straight all day (no lost

to me, the only thing this golf ball is good for, is hitting in2 the wind, and distance, the feel isn't as good as some of the other golf balls, but if u wana strike 'em far, and out drive your friend(s), this is the ball for you.

I read up on a Maxfli RedMax and wanted to buy some. I've looked online and can't find a store that has them in stock. Do they not make them anymore?

hi, thanks for the question. MAxfli has been purchased by another company and is no longer making golf balls. This ball has been discontinued. I am sorry for the inconvenience. -Parker

The talk is about club head speed; high, moderate and low. Just where does one go to determine club head speed and does this only apply to drivers?
A
05/21/2009 3:21 PMGolfballs.com Employee: Andy
Thank you for your inquiry. Club head speed is mainly mentioned when speaking of driving the golf ball. High club head speeds are 100 MHP+, moderate 85-99, and low would be considered below 85 MPH. Head speed will always be considered when determining shaft flex and usually ball selection. It is always great to be aware of your club head speed.

My company bought several doz. balls, they were kept in the store room. How long will these balls last? are they still good? its been around 8yrs. the company closed and I recieved several doz.

Jerry, the shelf life of the golf balls if stored in a climate controlled area is non existent. The balls will perform to the standards they were produced at the time. If you are playing an older golf ball you may notice differences from performance of newer balls but that is due to advances in technology not because the ball is "dead". Only storing balls out doors or in non controllable climates will you notice the balls only last around 2 years in most cases.

A golf ball takes between 100 and 1000 years to decompose. If a golf ball is not old and battered through play, it will be fine!!! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/earthnews/6540852/Golf-balls-take-1000-years-to-decompose.html
