Product Description

Using proprietary DimpleInDimple technology, the TopFlite D2 golf ball improves aerodynamics, resulting in longer ball flight, tighter control and incredible soft feel. The TopFlite D2 DimpleInDimple design creates aggressive turbulence which reduces drag, and maintains spin longer throughout flight allowing the ball to hold its line dead set on the flag. Super soft compression gives exceptional feedback and user response.

  • Slickote coating reduces sidespin for straighter shots
  • TopFlite D2 DimpleInDimple cover technology creates surface turbulance keeping the ball in the air longer
  • Crosshair putter alignment stamped on each ball
  • 2 piece/332 Dimple Design

Best Ball Ever 9/3/2008
Handicap 0 - 5
I've been playing for over 20 years now and this is by far the best ball ever. Ever since I switched 2 months ago, I have hit every fairway, every round! I used to play with the Callaway tour ix, but now I use the best and straightest ball out there!

Excellent ball and cheap...cheap..... 8/14/2008
Handicap 10 - 15
I am a 62 year old golfer.....sometimes break into the 70's....playing the D2 straight....last two rounds...13 of 14 Fairways hit...and 11 of 14 hit. Great ball for the money...softer feel than some of the "premium balls". Putts well but does not spin like a ProV..Can't beat it for the price. Does not scuff.

Seriously...great ball 8/4/2008
Handicap 6 - 10
A lot of people will write this ball off because it is a Top Flight ball... not a Nike, Callaway, or Titlest. HOWEVER, this is the best golf ball I have ever played. It has great distance, flies straight, and has a soft feel on the green. No BS here... truly the best ball I have played. Don't waste your money on over-priced name brand balls. The D2's are legit. I hope that Top FLight keeps the price good... because once the secret gets out on this ball, it will be in massive demand.

Straight Is The Word 4/3/2008
Handicap 10 - 15
I bought these on recommendation. And, just like all other "straight" balls it flew straight, alright. Straight in to the rough, water, woods, sand, and the dumpster. I give it 2 stars because, at least, they didn`t cost $4.00 each.

Straight as an arrow 9/25/2007
Handicap 10 - 15
I got the D2 because of the price but I'm keeping it in my bag b/c its one of the best balls I've ever played. The ball has awesome feel from tee to green. And the Crosshair putter alignment is a great tool that has helped me to be a better putter.

The talk is about club head speed; high, moderate and low. Just where does one go to determine club head speed and does this only apply to drivers?

Thank you for your inquiry. Club head speed is mainly mentioned when speaking of driving the golf ball. High club head speeds are 100 MHP+, moderate 85-99, and low would be considered below 85 MPH. Head speed will always be considered when determining shaft flex and usually ball selection. It is always great to be aware of your club head speed.

Jerry, the shelf life of the golf balls if stored in a climate controlled area is non existent. The balls will perform to the standards they were produced at the time. If you are playing an older golf ball you may notice differences from performance of newer balls but that is due to advances in technology not because the ball is "dead". Only storing balls out doors or in non controllable climates will you notice the balls only last around 2 years in most cases.

A golf ball takes between 100 and 1000 years to decompose. If a golf ball is not old and battered through play, it will be fine!!! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/earthnews/6540852/Golf-balls-take-1000-years-to-decompose.html

Is ID-Align aligned along 1) the center of balance, 2) the seam of two part cover, or 3) just a few dots on either side of initials?
A
05/04/2009 3:09 PMGolfballs.com Employee: Andy
Thank you for your question. The IDAlign service is centered in accordance to the logo of the manufacturer, in many cases the balls we print on are seamless. The are 6 different Golfballs.com ID-Align selections to choose from including arrows, lines, dots, or stars. For additional inquiries, please contact us at 1-800-372-2557. Thanks, Andy

Golf balls stored in a controlled climate, (not outside in the elements, not stored in a 100 degree temperature,)will lose ONE YARD per year. That means, obviously, if you store your golf balls for ten years they will lose only ten yards of carry. Most of us could never tell the difference until it reaches that ten year mark.
